TIMES PAST

With times past always coming forward
the future always has a way of repeating itself.

As she walks the banks of the Nile she sees the Great pyramid in the distance. Putting one hand up to shield her eyes from the bright disk of Ra and with the other she touches her talisman, a special prayer is said.

Here is an early example of my work. I made the medallion from aluminum sheeting and covered it with tissue paper and setting medium. I then added patina to give it an old warmth. SOLD



The snow covered mountains of Tibet are brutal, but come spring she will see the new life she now carries. The shaman gave her the talisman to protect her during her time. 

I use a black nylon cord for most of my pieces. I sometimes will add knots in between the beadwork.



This piece is made with aluminum as well. Green glass is used. I created the paper beads to round out the work.

I LOVE to use found objects to use in my work as well. If it has a hole or one can be added I will try to put it on a string. SOLD
