This is a simple piece that I made in a short time. The hand is made with 3 gauges of copper wire and silver solder. It is finished off by a tattered brown ribbon and an old glass pearl bead with silver wire. The latch is brass with a tiger eye chip. The necklace is a soft brown suade leather that feel comfortable around the neck.
This talisman could have been worn by a woman who helped those around her in a time of turmoil, when life was harsh and death was easy. 
I worked on this bracelet for three hours. Each bead is wrapped. There are glass beads, semi-precious turquoise, sodalite, coral and coins. I made the chain of copper as well. This item is SOLD.As I sat and worked on this piece I kept thinking about what I was going to do to the next piece. It seems strange that the mind can be doing one thing and something so different at the same time.
These two pieces have nothing in common and yet they could be worn together.
